instructor: Sheila Karrow Start up in studio July 4th, 5:30 pm ? 8:30 pm, on location July 8, 15, 22, 10 am-1 pm Day 1: Learn how light affects seeing, how to use perspective and colour and get ready for the outdoor sessions. Day 2-4: meet at different locations to gain practical experience ?en plein air? . Students will learn how to play with the ever changing conditions. Plein air artists challenge themselves to complete a painting in each sitting. You may find however that painting in nature initiates a deeper awareness of place, where the process becomes more important than the outcome.
