Art of Embodying Elderhood: A 9-Month Journey with 8 Somatic Wisdom Portals

Join us for an exploration into 8 somatic wisdom portals that offer inquiry-based and embodied resources to meet opportunities for adulting! A 9-Month Journey (Fall 2022 - Spring 2023): Through story, reflection, inquiry, embodied practices and connection with others, each portal offers an invitation to strengthen perceptual capacities to support deeper engagement with not knowing without falling into patterns of collapse, refusal, blame, projection or attempts to push through. Facilitator Penny Allport (Life Cycle Celebrant) weaves the tale of the 8 Wisdom Gates, based on the teachings of Angeles Arrien in The Second Half of Life, as: "You haven't really heard a story until you've heard it seven times." Facilitator Penny Allport is a Certified Life-Cycle Celebrant, Metaphysical Minister, Funeral Celebrant and Home Funeral Guide, poet and wordsmith, yogini and Continuum Movement facilitator.
