The federal government has proposed sweeping changes to business taxes - the greatest change in 50 years. Small businesses are the backbone of the Cowichan Valley. The jobs you provide, the initiatives you support and the money you generate are fundamental to a vital community. The proposed tax changes will undermine small business and resonate throughout our community.
The consultation process is underway NOW and the deadline for input is Mon. Oct. 2/17. The Chamber joins dozens of business organizations across Canada in opposing the proposed changes.
